A desire to keep animals as healthy as possible
Two vets followed a desire for a simple, cost-effective way to communicate with clients and help keep their animals as healthy as possible. Unable to find a good enough solution, they built one.
Co-founders Jamie Crittall and Charlie Barton launched Virtual Recall Ltd in 2011 to offer simple, profitable client communications to other vets like themselves.
We are pleased to announce that we are now part of the Zoetis group, and continue on our mission to enhance the bond between vets and their clients (and their animals) by transforming client service, improving animal health and delivering extraordinary top-line profits.
We believe passionately in doing business in a way that fits our principles: focus on improving animal health, reducing admin workloads (so staff can look after clients) and improve workflows in clinics - that will never change.

Our initial solution, iRecall®, is now one of the world’s leading client communication platforms, helping to extend vets’ personal advice and care beyond the practice door to their millions of clients and animals. It provides automated, targeted and uniquely personalised content through a range of reminders, educational campaigns and surveys throughout the customer journey.
OurVet.Shop ®
More recently we launched OurVet.Shop®, a unique platform that enables practices to provide a convenient and secure reordering and home delivery service to their clients. It is fully tailored to each practice and works seamlessly with iRecall® for a truly personalised client experience. The service is branded to the practice, they control the product catalogue and pricing, and it works regardless of practice management system or healthplan provider. It puts the practice at the heart of the relationship with the clients and their pets, and allows them to compete with B2C webshops. Currently available for UK practices only.
